What is the Underwater Classroom?
The Underwater Classroom is an underwater learning site created using artificial reef structures and coral restoration techniques. It provides a safe, structured environment where students learn directly in the ocean while participating in reef monitoring and restoration activities.

Our six-stage learning pathway takes students from foundational water skills to marine conservation leadership.
Swimming & Snorkeling Foundations
Students build confidence and safety in the water through structured swimming and snorkeling lessons before advancing to deeper learning.
Scuba Diving Training
Qualified instructors guide students through internationally certified scuba training, opening the door to the underwater classroom.
Coral Identification & Monitoring
Students learn to identify coral species, assess health indicators, and document reef conditions using standardized monitoring methods.
Data Collection & Observation
Hands-on practice in underwater data collection, water quality testing, and scientific observation techniques used by marine biologists.
Reef Restoration Techniques
Students participate directly in coral planting, artificial reef maintenance, and reef recovery activities alongside our conservation team.
Marine Conservation Leadership
Graduating students become ocean ambassadors, mentoring younger learners and leading community conservation initiatives.
